Canada Day Celebrations Include Citizenship Ceremonies for Immigrants
On July 1, 2025, parades, picnics, concerts, and fireworks, along with several Canadian citizenship ceremonies, took place nationwide, as Canada celebrated its 158th birthday. Hundreds of immigrants received Canadian citizenship at special ceremonies held on Canada Day in Manitoba, Nova Scotia and other provinces. One immigrant at a ceremony held in Winnipeg declared that becoming a citizen of Canada offers the opportunity to belong, to dream and to grow. Another new Canadian citizen said at a ceremony in Halifax that this was a great opportunity for his family. To read more, click here!
