Universities in Canada Paying the Highest Salaries to Instructors

According to Statistics Canada, the median yearly salary for instructors at the top-paying Canadian universities is close to $200,000 CAD. The median annual salary is half-way between the lowest and highest salaries. The Canadian government’s statistics agency reported that the University of Waterloo, located in southern Ontario, has the highest median teaching salary for a university in Canada at $198,125 CAD per year, followed by the University of British Columbia with $198,000 CAD annually, and Queen’s University in Ontario with a yearly median salary of $197,050 CAD.
